Answer
There are multiple reasons why an alert notification was not sent out:
- The alert condition was not met so an alert was not triggered and alert notifications were not sent, for example:
- If the alert is set to be triggered when the temperature is out of range for an hour but the readings were only out of range for 30 minutes.
- If the alert is set to be triggered when the average temperature is out of range for an hour but the average was in range even though there were readings outside of the range.
- Alert notifications were paused for the sensor (see Pausing and Resuming Sensor Alert Notifications).
- Alert notifications were paused for the group/location (see Pausing and Resuming Sensor Alert Notifications).
- Your Job Role was not selected when the alert notification was configured (see Managing Device Templates).
- You have Opted Out of receiving alert notifications (see Opting Out of Notifications and Reports).
- An email notification was sent, but it ended up in your Spam/Junk folder (the email would have come from support@compliancemate.com or no-reply@compliancemate.com):
- If you have spam/junk filtering enabled on your email client:
- Check the spam/junk folder.
- Mark any notifications as Not Spam/Junk.
- Always trust the sender.
- If you have spam/junk filtering enabled through your email service:
- Check the spam/junk folder on your service.
- Mark any notifications as Not Spam/Junk.
- Always trust the sender.
- If you have spam/junk filtering enabled on your email client:
- An SMS notification was sent out and/or a phone call was made, but you have blocked the number on your phone:
- Unblock the alert number on your phone (see From what phone number are text alerts sent?).
