How can I calibrate a sensor?

  • Updated

Answer

All sensors are calibrated at the factory before they are shipped. There is no field calibration available.

If you want to check the accuracy of a sensor, carry out the following:

  1. Place the sensor in a location along with one or more other sensors, such as on a prep table.
  2. Allow the sensors to sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Check the cards for each sensor on the Dashboard and note the most recent temperature reading.

All sensors on the table should be reporting the same temperature to the Dashboard:

  • If all sensors report the same temperature, then there is no issue with accuracy.
  • If you checked two sensors and they don't match, test again with 3 or more sensors to see which of the original two may be inaccurate. The one that does not match the others may have an issue. Contact ComplianceMate Support.
