I replaced the sensor batteries but the battery icon is still yellow. What does that mean?

If you have replaced the batteries in a sensor with new batteries but the battery icon on the Dashboard sensor card is still yellow, it could mean that the sensor's firmware needs to be updated. This only occurs on sensors that were shipped before January 2020.

• If your sensor was received before January 2020, you will need to update the firmware (see How do I update the firmware on a Laird (now Ezurio) Sentrius sensor?).
• If your sensor was received in January 2020 or later, it would still be a good idea to check and see if your sensor's firmware needs to be updated, but you can contact ComplianceMate Support to see if there is some other issue with your sensor that is causing the battery icon to appear yellow.
