The following describes installing the Mobile App on a tablet running Android 11. Installation on later Android versions and other operating systems will be similar.
There are three basic steps to installing the Mobile App on a tablet:
- In the Google Play Store, downloading and installing the app.
- In the Server App, accessing the Tablets page for the location where you want to register the tablet, and starting the registration process.
- In the Mobile App, registering the tablet at the location.
Downloading and Installing the Mobile App on a Tablet
- On your tablet, start Play Store, and search for ComplianceMate. The ComplianceMate page appears:
- If the tablet is not compatible with ComplianceMate, the message Your device isn't compatible with this version appears. This is typically because the operating system is too old or it is a "light" or non-supported version. You will need to install the app on a different device.
- Tap Install. Play Store proceeds through the first three stages of pending, downloading, and installing until the app is installed:

- When the install is complete, tap Open. The ComplianceMate splash screen appears, followed by a series of prompts:
Tap Allow so the Mobile App can access photos, media, and files on the tablet.
Tap Allow so the Mobile App can take pictures and video from the tablet.
Click OK to acknowledge the Location Disclosure statement.
Click Allow so the Mobile App can access your device's location. The Mobile App Register Tablet page appears:
- Proceed to Registering a Tablet with a Location.
