The following are the application settings for the ComplianceMate Mobile App on a tablet running Android operating system. Settings for tablets running Apple iOS are similar.
On an Android 10 (or higher) Tablet
These images were captured from a tablet running Android 11, but the images from a tablet running Android 10 should be the same.
To view settings for your Android 10 (or higher) Tablet, locate and tap on the Settings icon. The Settings screen appears (scroll down, as needed):
Android 10 (and higher): Settings > Apps > ComplianceMate
To view the tablet app settings for the Mobile App on Android 10 and higher, carry out the following:
- Open Settings, tap Apps. A list of available apps appears:
- Locate and tap ComplianceMate. The App info screen for the ComplianceMate app appears:
Notifications
All ComplianceMate notifications should be enabled:
Permissions
Camera, Location, Nearby devices, and Notifications should be Allowed:
Android 10 (and higher): Settings > Notifications > App notifications
Notification settings can also be checked through Settings > Notifications > App notifications > ComplianceMate:
Tap Notifications. The Notifications screen appears:
- Make sure Detailed is enabled.
- Tap ComplianceMate, if listed under Recently Used.
- If not listed, tap More. A list of Most Recent apps appears. Tap ComplianceMate, if listed.
- If not, change Most recent to All, then tap ComplianceMate on that list.
The Notifications > ComplianceMate screen appears. Show notifications and all notifications and badges should be enabled:
- If not listed, tap More. A list of Most Recent apps appears. Tap ComplianceMate, if listed.
Android 10 (and higher): Settings > Notifications > Notifications on lock screen
If the tablet utilizes a locked screen to protect access, it is important that notifications and alarms be enabled even when the tablet is locked. This can be done by tapping Settings > Lock Screen > Notifications and enabling Details:
Android 10 (and higher): Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb
If you want to be able to enable Do Not Disturb on the tablet, it is important that you set it up so that ComplianceMate and Alarms can interrupt.
Do Not Disturb can be accessed from Settings > Notifications:
Apps (that can interrupt)
To allow ComplianceMate to interrupt Do Not Disturb, carry out the following:
- Tap Apps. The Apps screen appears:
- Tap Add apps. A list of available apps appears:
- Tap on ComplianceMate. The ComplianceMate notifications list appears with all disabled:
- Enable Allow all notifications:
- Press the back arrow above Do Not Disturb. The Apps screen appears with ComplianceMate listed as one of the Apps that can interrupt:
Alarms and sounds (that can interrupt)
- On the Do not disturb screen, tap Alarms and sounds. The Alarms and sounds screen appears:
- Make sure that Alarms is enabled.
On an Android 14 Tablet
The screen captures in this section were from a generic tablet running a "lite" version of Android 14. As soon as we have a Samsung tablet running Android 14, we will update these images. Follow this article to receive notifications of the changes.
To view settings for your Android 14 Tablet, locate and tap on the Settings icon. The Settings screen appears (scroll down, as needed):
Android 14: Settings > Apps > ComplianceMate
Settings for the ComplianceMate app are carried out by tapping Apps, then ComplianceMate:
Notifications
All ComplianceMate notifications should be enabled:
Permissions

- Tap the back arrow above Apps. The Do Not Disturb screen appears with ComplianceMate list under Apps:
Alarms & other interruptions
To allow alarms to interrupt Do Not Disturb:
- Tap Alarms & other interruptions. The Alarms & other interruptions screen appears:
- Enable Alarms.
- Use the back arrows to return to the Settings screen.
