Is sensor data retrieved after a power or Internet outage?

Answer

Yes. Sensors are equipped with enough memory to store a backlog of readings in the event either of the following occurs:

• Loss of Internet connection with the ComplianceMate server due a gateway, router, or provider issue.
• Loss of power to the gateway or router.

And because sensors are battery powered, they continue to record temperature readings even if there is a power outage.

Once the connection has been re-established with the ComplianceMate server through power and/or Internet connection restoration, the backlog of sensor readings will be uploaded from each sensor.
