I hereby confirm the Laird Connectivity Sentrius™ RS1xx Integrated Temperature / Humidity Sensors utilises the Silicon Labs Si7021-A20 I²C Temperature and Humidity Sensor. This is integrated into the following Compliance Mate part numbers: 455-0005 / 455-0006 / 450-00049B / 450-00050B / 450-00051B / 450-00052B / 450-00053B. The certificate of calibration for this IC is entitled ‘si70xx-calibration-certificate’ and can be found at the following location:-

https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/miscellaneous/si70xx-calibration-certificate.pdf

As per the Silicon Labs datasheet,

https://www.silabs.com/documents/public/data-sheets/Si7021-A20.pdf

the sensor is rated at +/- 0.7°F, 0.3°C (Typ) and the temperature stability
may drift <0.01°C per year.

With this understanding, Laird Connectivity determines a sensor accuracy of <0.9°F/0.5°C up to
10 years post the date of manufacture.

**NOTE This is a broader window than that defined by Silicon Labs in their datasheet, as their
accelerated life testing on the IC was performed in benign operating environment and not
factoring in exposure to extreme conditions.
