Answer for Deactivating Probe Control
If you need to deactivate Probe Control for a location, carry out the following:
- In the Server App, make the location active with the probe that is being repaired.
- Click Configurations > Settings and scroll down to Locations Settings for Tablets.
- Uncheck the Probe Control Active box.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update Group.
- In the Mobile App, tap Sync on the Mobile App menu, and then tap Synchronize Data.
Now, when you access a standard checklist that requires a probe, a reusable checklist that requires a probe, or a timed log, the following occurs:
- The Mobile App no longer checks to see if a probe is connected.
- When you open an item that requires a probe, the Digital Probe form is replaced with a Manual Temperature Entry form, allowing you to enter a value without needing the digital probe.
