Welcome to Mobile App v6!

The Next Generation of the ComplianceMate Mobile App

We are excited to welcome you to the next generation of the ComplianceMate Mobile App. v6 represents a complete update of the user experience in the Mobile App using state of the art technology and a fresh, modern user interface designed to improve productivity and ease of use.

This major upgrade provides:

  • the same great functionality with better responsiveness and a modern look'n'feel
  • quick and simple access to commonly used functions
  • faster and more reliable bluetooth connections
  • a reworked dashboard that focuses on what's urgent
  • direct access to reports and insights
  • and much, much more!

As part of the migration to v6, we have copied over the following from v5.3:

  • the tablet registration and credentials for your location
  • all paired probes
  • the app settings and preferences
  • a backup of the database

We listened to you!

We didn't just replace the look and feel of the Mobile App, we made significant changes to how the Mobile App is used so that it better fits into your high-paced work environment:

The Dashboard has been replaced by the new Home screen

  • We made it easier to access the functions that you need the most, such as checklists, timed logs, tasks, and messages without the need to go through a menu:

  • The app menu now contains access to lesser used functions, as well as functions that used to be buried on the Dashboard menu (which is gone), such as statistics (now insights), notifications, and support. There is also a link to ComplianceMate User Guide for the Mobile App.

  • You can now view and request generated Reports directly from the Home screen.

  • You can now view sensor and list completion Insights (formerly Statistics) directly from the app menu.
  • The sensor cards that first appear on the Home screen are now only those with active alerts. From these cards you can pause/activate alert notifications, as well as enter corrective actions and resolve alerts. You can navigate to see all sensor cards with a single touch of the screen.

  • List completion cards are more concise and easier to navigate, with completion details accessed with a single tap of the screen. You can view responses that were submitted for a checklist by simply tapping the link on the details screen.

  • You can now filter Required lists and Non-required lists in the List completions section of the Home screen to show all lists (default), missed lists, completed lists, in-progress lists, or available lists:

Checklist Status has been updated

There are now six statuses for checklists:

  • A light gray bar with a lock icon means the checklist is currently not available, but will be available during the times indicated.
  • A dark gray bar with a clock icon means the checklist is currently available during the times indicated, but has not been started.
  • A yellow bar with a play icon means the checklist is currently in progress, but the available time period has not expired.
  • A light green bar with a clock icon means the checklist has been completed but the available time period has not expired. It can still be edited, if needed.
  • A dark green bar with a check icon means the checklist has been completed and the available time has expired.
  • A red bar with an x icon means the checklist was not completed before the available time expired. It may or may not have been started.

Checklists now have a better flow

While the new Mobile App preserves the checklist functionality of the previous version, the interface has been updated to improve ease of use and increase productivity:

  • For each checklist type - text, yes/no, numeric, probe, manual temperature, multiple choice, image, and signature, the screen has been updated with an input box at the bottom of the screen where you provide your answer, access options (e.g., Add Comments and/or Add Image), and submit the answer. If you open an item that has already been answered, that answer appears in that box.

  • Pairing, activating, connecting and using digital probes is now much faster using the latest Bluetooth technology.
  • When using a digital probe, the temperature displayed now indicates whether it is within range or out of range BEFORE you actually record the temperature:

    In-range temperature (reading / recorded):

    Out-of-range temperature (reading / recorded):

You can view messages that you previously acknowledged

Not only can you view and acknowledge new messages that you have received, you can also view messages that you have previously acknowledged. This is especially helpful if a person on one shift acknowledges a message that needs to be reviewed by later shifts. Likewise, if you acknowledge a message, you can go back later and reference it if it contained pertinent information or instructions:

You can now manage your location connection

Tapping on the location information displayed on the Settings menu, you can access the Current Location screen, where you can disconnect from your current location, allowing you to then easily register with a different location (requires access to the ComplianceMate Web app on a separate computer or tablet).
