I can't register the tablet with the Mobile App. What do I do?

If you are trying to register the tablet using the instructions found in How do I register a tablet with a location? but you are unable to scan the QR code or generate a one-time code, you can work through the following steps before contacting support:

  1. Close and restart the Mobile App, then try to register the tablet.
  2. If that doesn't work:
    • Turn the tablet off and on, then try to register the tablet.
  3. If that doesn't work:
    • Close the Mobile App.
    • Clear the ComplianceMate app cache:
      • Settings > Apps > ComplianceMate > Storage > Clear cache
    • Start the Mobile App, then try to register the tablet.
  4. If that doesn't work:
    • Close the Mobile App.
    • Make sure the Mobile App has permission to use the camera:
      • Settings > Apps > ComplianceMate > Permissions > Camera (enabled)
    • Start the Mobile App, then try and register the tablet.
  5. If that doesn't work:
    • Close the Mobile App.
    • Reinstall the Mobile App (see Reinstalling the Mobile App).
    • Start the Mobile App, then try and register the tablet.
  6. If that doesn't work, contact us.
