Why is the Mobile App not updating?

In order for the Mobile App to update, the following needs to be true:

  • The tablet battery needs to have a sufficient charge to allow the update process to execute.
    • Because updates are typically carried out overnight, we recommend that you plug the tablet to its charger after the last checklist is completed.
  • The tablet must be powered on, though it can be in sleep mode and still receive updates.
  • Wi-Fi must be enabled on the tablet and it must be connected to the Wi-Fi network at your location:
    • Swipe down on the tablet to view the settings, make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled, and that it is connected to a network with an Internet connection.
    • Alternately, open Settings, tap Connections, then Wi-Fi, and make sure Wi-Fi is enabled and that it is connected to a network with an Internet connection. 
  • Auto download over W-Fi must be enabled:
    • Open Settings, tap Software update, and make sure Auto download over W-Fi is enabled.
  • The operating system must be a support version of Android or iOS.

If all the above is true at the end of the day, the Mobile App will update overnight if an update is available.
