The following describes installing the Mobile App on a tablet running Android 13. Installation on later Android versions and other operating systems will be similar.
There are three basic steps to installing the Mobile App on a tablet:
- In the Google Play Store, download and install the app.
- In the Server App, access the Tablets page for the location where you want to register the tablet, and start the registration process.
- In the Mobile App, register the tablet at the location.
Downloading and Installing the Mobile App on a Tablet

On your tablet, start Play Store, and search for ComplianceMate. The ComplianceMate page appears:
- If the tablet is not compatible with ComplianceMate, the message Your device isn't compatible with this version appears. This is typically because the operating system is too old or it is a "light" or non-supported version. You will need to install the app on a different device.

Tap Install. Play Store proceeds through the first three stages of pending, downloading, and installing until the app is installed:

When the install is complete, tap Open. The ComplianceMate splash screen appears, followed by a permission prompt:
Tap Allow so the Mobile App can send you notifications on the tablet. Another permission prompt appears:
Tap While using the app so the Mobile App can take pictures and video from the tablet. Another permission prompt appears:
Click Allow so the Mobile App can use the tablet to find and connect to nearby devices, such as digital probes. The Connect a tablet screen appears:
- Proceed to Registering a Tablet with a Location.
