Installing Mobile App v6

The following describes installing the Mobile App on a tablet running Android 13. Installation on later Android versions and other operating systems will be similar.

There are three basic steps to installing the Mobile App on a tablet:

  1. In the Google Play Store, download and install the app.
  2. In the Server App, access the Tablets page for the location where you want to register the tablet, and start the registration process.
  3. In the Mobile App, register the tablet at the location.

Downloading and Installing the Mobile App on a Tablet

  1. On your tablet, start Play Store, and search for ComplianceMate. The ComplianceMate page appears:

    • If the tablet is not compatible with ComplianceMate, the message Your device isn't compatible with this version appears. This is typically because the operating system is too old or it is a "light" or non-supported version. You will need to install the app on a different device.
  2. Tap Install. Play Store proceeds through the first three stages of pending, downloading, and installing until the app is installed:

  3. When the install is complete, tap Open. The ComplianceMate splash screen appears, followed by a permission prompt:

    Tap Allow so the Mobile App can send you notifications on the tablet. Another permission prompt appears:

    Tap While using the app so the Mobile App can take pictures and video from the tablet. Another permission prompt appears:

    Click Allow so the Mobile App can use the tablet to find and connect to nearby devices, such as digital probes. The Connect a tablet screen appears:

  4. Proceed to Registering a Tablet with a Location.
