Installing the TrackAssure Mobile App

To install the TrackAssure Mobile App on your tablet, carry out the following:

Step 1: Create a Google Account for Your Tablet

If your tablet already has a Google account on it for your organization, you can skip this step.

On you tablet, carry out the following:

1. Start Settings.
2. Tap Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Add account.
3. Tap Google. After a few moment, the Sign in screen appears.
4. Tap Create account, and choose For work my business.
5. In the First name field, enter the city of the location.
6. In the Last name field, enter the 2-character abbreviation for the state of the location and tap Next.
7. In the Month, Day, and Year fields, enter January, 01, and 1980, respectively.
8. In Gender, select Rather not say and tap Next.
9. Tap Create your own Gmail address and enter the following:
   • For example [storename#.tablet##]@gmail.com where # is the number of the location where the tablet will be used and ## is the number of the tablet (e.g., ABCStore1024.Tablet02@gamil.com).
10. Tap Next.
11. Enter a Password and tap Next.
12. On the Review your account info screen, tap Next.
13. Tap I agree to the Privacy and Terms.
14. Tap Next for Google Services.
15. Tap Remind me later for Set Up Payment Info.
16. Tap Next.

A Google account has now been set up which you can use to log into the Google Play Store and install the ComplianceMate app.

If the tablet is already logged into Google with a different, non-organization account or an account that was used at another location, carry out the following:

1. Tap on the user icon in the upper right corner of the Play Store page.
2. Tap the down arrow to the right of the current login name.
3. Choose the account you just created.
4. Tap Accept for Terms of Service. The Play Store is loaded for that account. 

Step 2: Log into the Google Play Store

If you carried out Step 1, you can skip this step.

Use the tablet's Google Account to log into the Google Play Store and install the TrackAssure app.

If you are logged into Google with a different, non-tablet account (e.g., a personal account), carry out the following to switch to the tablet account:

1. Tap on the user icon in the upper right corner of the Play Store page.
2. Tap the down arrow to the right of the current login name.
3. Choose the account you just created.
4. Tap Accept for Terms of Service. The Play Store is loaded for that account. 

Step 3: Download and Install TrackAssure on the Tablet

To download and install TrackAsssure on the tablet, carry out the following:

1. On your tablet, start Play Store, and search for TrackAssure by Ladlee. The TrackAsssure by Ladle page appears.
   • If the tablet is not compatible with TrackAssure, the message Your device isn't compatible with this version appears. This is typically because the operating system is too old or it is a "light" or non-supported version. You will need to install the app on a different device.
2. Tap Install. Play Store proceeds through the first three stages of pending, downloading, and installing until the app is installed.

3. When the install is complete, tap Open. The TrackAssure splash screen appears:

   

   After a few seconds, the The Welcome to TrackAssure screen appears:

   

4. Proceed to Accessing the TrackAssure Mobile App.
