Creating a Task Triggered by a Corrective Action

  • Updated

When a corrective action is triggered by a non-compliant answer to a checklist item, completion of the corrective action can trigger the creation of a task. That task can then be completed using the Tasks function of the Mobile App.

To create a task triggered by a corrective action

To create a task triggered by a corrective action, carry out the following:

  1. With a checklist opened in the Mobile App, answer a checklist item.
  2. If the answer provided triggers a corrective action, complete that action and click SUBMIT.  The task is then created.
  3. If the task requires a comment, a blank Comments dialog appears:

    • Enter comments that helps clarify the task and click SAVE.

  4. If the task requires a photo, the device’s camera is accessed:

  5. Take the photo:

    • If the photo is acceptable and you want to add it to the gallery, tap OK.

    • If you want to retry the photo, tap RETRY.

    • To add another photo, repeat this step.
    • If you have taken more than one photo, swipe left or right to view the photos.
    • To remove a photo from the task, locate the photo and tap DELETE PHOTO. The photo is removed from the task.

The task comments and/or photo are then added to the task and synchronized with the ComplianceMate Server along with the answers to the checklist item.
