Introducing the Task Module

  • Updated

Tasks is a new feature has been added to the ComplianceMate solution.

A task is created for a location by carrying out either of the following in the Mobile App:

  1. Responding to a list item with a non-compliant answer, such as No, where the resulting Corrective Action triggers the creation of a task.
  2. Manually adding a New Task through the Task function.

A task consists of the following information:

  • A Task Name, which identifies it on a list of tasks.
    • For tasks triggered by a corrective action, this name is automatically populated with the item name.
    • For manually created tasks, this is the name entered by the user.
  • Images, which are used to identify the condition that is to be addressed by completing the task (e.g., a photo of an unsanitary trash area).
    • For tasks triggered by a corrective action, images are added at the time the corrective action is completed and the task is created.
    • For manually created tasks, images are added when the task is being created.
  • Comments, which instructs the user as to what actions need to be carried out to complete the task (e.g., “Remove trash bins, hose down the trash bay, spray disinfectant, and return trash bins.”)
    • For tasks triggered by a corrective action, comments are added at the time the corrective action is completed and the task is created.
    • For manually created tasks, comments are added when the task is being created.
  • Response requirements, which identifies what the user must provide when completing the task:
    • Comments Only, to describe the work done.
    • Images Only, to show the results of the work.
    • Comments and Images.

A task has either of the following statuses:

  • Open, which means the task has been created but not completed.
  • Closed, which means the task has been completed.

Once created, a task can then be accessed using either of the following:

  • The Mobile App Tasks menu item, which takes you to a list of Open tasks. From here, you can:
    • Complete an existing task.
    • Manually create a New Task.
  • The Server App Tasks function, which takes you to the Tasks Status report. From here, you can:
    • Filter the lists to show tasks for specific Date Ranges and Groups/Locations.
    • View the Details of Open tasks, including the comments and images entered when a task was created.
    • View the Details and Resolution of Closed tasks, including the comments and images entered when a task was completed.
    • Delete existing tasks.
