Knowing when to replace the Probe Battery

To check and see if the battery in a probe needs to be replaced, carry out the following:

1. Open the probe to turn the instrument on, and observe the flash of the LEDs:
   • An amber flash indicates the battery is okay.
   • A red flash means it is time to change battery.
   • No flash means the battery is dead.
2. If you missed the initial flash, press the transmit button and observe the flash of the LEDS.
