Accessing the Server App

  • Updated

The Server App does not require an installation.

The Server App is accessed by entering a URL in the Address field of your browser, and then clicking Enter.

  • That URL is provided to your organization by ComplianceMate.
  • Each organization has only one URL for accessing the Server App.

After entering the URL in your browser and pressing Enter, the Sign-in page appears:

  • If you have sign-in credentials - an Email address and Password, enter them in the two fields provided, and then click Sign in. After verification of your credentials, the Server App Dashboard for your default active workspace (group or location) appears:

  • If you have credentials but forgot your password:
    1. Click Forgot password. The Reset your password page appears:

    2. Enter your Email address and click Reset password. A message appears at the top of the page, advising you to check your email for a link to create a new password:

    3. Open the email and click the link provided. A Change your password page appears:

    4. Complete the Choose a password and Confirm password fields.
    5. Click Save this password.
      • If the passwords match, the password is saved, you may be prompted to update your saved passwords, and the Sign in screen appears, where you can sign in using your Email address and new Password.
      • If the passwords do not match, a message appears below the Confirm password field:

Try again, making sure your Caps Lock key is set on your keyboard, as expected (passwords are case-sensitive).

You can now log in using your Email address and your new password.

  • If you do not have credentials but have received an invitation in your email, you need to accept that invitation and complete the new user form to setup your sign-in credentials (see Accepting an Invitation to Use the Server App).
  • If you do not have credentials and have not received an invitation in your email, you need to contact your system administrator to arrange for an invitation to be sent to you.

Navigation Bar

The Navigation Bar appears at the top of every page in the Server App and includes the name of the location's parent organization, the name of the location (in bold), and the group branch in which it resides:

  • To navigate up the branch, click on the group name and that group will become active.

The User Icon

The user icon, located on the right side of the navigation bar, displays the user menu when clicked, providing the credentials for how the user is Signed in as, an Edit Profile link, and a Sign out link:

Server App Menu

Below the navigation bar is the Server App menu:

Clicking on one of the menu items displays the page associated with that item, and may also display one or two submenus:

Searching for Locations or Users

On the right side of the main menu (except on the Dashboard), there is a search field:

Enter two characters, and it will produce a list of locations and users that include the characters:

The more characters your enter, the fewer results that appear.

When you see the location or user you want to access, click on the entry on the list. The card for the location or user appears.
