Accepting an Invitation to Use the Server App

In order to use the Server App, you must have valid sign-in credentials: an Email address and Password.

To setup a valid set of sign-in credentials, the following must occur:

• You must be invited to use ComplianceMate. The invitation is sent to your email by your system administrator.
• You must accept the invitation by clicking a link in the email, and then completing the Set Your Password form.

Once this has been done, you will be able to sign into the Server App.

Before you proceed with accepting the invitation and creating your credentials, you need to make sure that that the computer you are using was not used by someone who logged into the Server App and forgot to log off:

• If the Server App has not been used on this computer, then you are fine to proceed with accepting the invitation.
• If the Server App has been used on this computer, get the URL for the Server App and enter it in the Address field on your browser and press Enter:
  • If a Sign-in form appears, you are good and can proceed with accepting the invitation.
  • If the Server App Dashboard appears, click on the user icon in the upper right corner of the page and choose Sign out. You can then proceed with accepting the invitation.

To accept an invitation, carry out the following:

1. Check your email, and open the one that is an invitation to ComplianceMate.
   • If you don't see an invitation in you inbox:
     
     • Check your spam and junk folders in your email. The email would have come from support@compliancemate.com or no-reply@compliancemate.com.
     • Contact your system administrator to see if an invitation has been sent to the correct email address.
2. Click the link in the email. The invitation appears:

   

   It is recommended that you open the link in Google Chrome, as Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge have been known to have issues displaying the form that opens when you click the link.

3. Click on Click Here. The Set Your Password page appears:

   

4. Complete the fields on the form, and click Sign Up. The Dashboard for your default active workspace (group or location) appears:

   

You can now use those credentials when signing into the ComplianceMate Server App.
