Updating Your User Profile

Your user profile contains the following:

• Basic Information about you relative to your position in the organization
• Settings that allow you to Opt Out of Notifications, such as sensor alerts, list reminders, and generated reports (for more information, see Opting Out of Notifications and Reports.
• A Vacation Mode which allows you to place your account in vacation mode and designate another user to receive any notifications and reports you would normally receive
• A link to Reset Password

To update your user Basic Information, carry out the following:

1. Access your user profile using one of the following methods:
   • Click on the user icon on the right side of Compliance banner, and then click Edit Profile on the menu that appears:

       

   • Searching for your name in the search field on the menu bar:

     

     

     • You will not be able to change your password if you access your profile using this method.
   • Clicking the edit icon on your user account card on the Organization > People page in the group or location where your account was created:
     • You will not be able to change your password if you access your profile using this method.

2. On the menu, make sure the Signed in as credentials are yours before editing your profile. If they are not, click Sign out and then sign back in as you.
3. Update the Basic Information fields as needed.
   • In the First Name field, enter your first name.
   • In the Last Name field, enter your last name.
   • In the Email field, verify that this is the email address you want to use for your account.

     This email address will be used to contact you via email if you are included on an alert notification or list reminder contact tree, or a generated report subscriber list, based on your role for the location.

   • In the Country Code field, choose the code of the country where your phone number is registered.
   • In the Phone Number field, enter your phone number, including the area code.

     This number will be used to contact you via phone call or SMS if you are included on an alert notification call tree based on your role for the location.

   • In the Language field, choose the language you want to use to view the Server App when this account is used.

   • In the Temperature units field, choose the units you want to use to enter and view temperatures in the Server App when this account is used

4. If needed, use the Opt Out of Notifications section to choose which notifications you do not want to receive.
5. If needed, use the Vacation Mode section to enable/disable vacation mode.
6. If needed, click Reset Password to change the password on your account:
   • This option will only be available if you chose Edit Profile from the user menu.
7. Click Update Profile. The changes are saved, and the form is closed. The page that was open when you chose to edit your profile remains open.
