How to Access the Help System
The Help System can be accessed one of three ways:
- By entering help.compliancemate.com into your browser's address field
- By clicking the Open CM User Guide link on the Support menu in the Server App:
- By clicking the Open CM User Guide link on the Support menu from the Dashboard menu in the Mobile App:
This will take you to the CM User Guide home page:
- On a browser on desktop or laptop computer:
- On a tablet, either in a separate browswer window or embedded in the Mobile App:
There are two versions of the help system that you can access: Basic and Advanced.
The Basic Help System
Everyone who accesses the ComplianceMate Help System will be presented with a basic version that includes the following:
- "How to" help for user functions, such as:
- using the Dashboard to view sensor and checklist highlights
- completing a checklist or timed log
- responding to sensor alert notifications and checklist reminders
- taking corrective actions on a sensor alert
- generating reports
- Access to Frequently Asked Questions.
The Advanced Help System
For users who are responsible for setting up and/or managing your organization's ComplianceMate Solution, or those who just want to know more than the day-to-day basics, there is an advanced version of the help system that includes the following:
- "How to" help for admin functions, such as:
- creating and modifying checklists
- adding new sensors
- registering smart devices for use at a location
- Explanations of each part of the ComplianceMate solution, how they are connected, and how they can be used to help your organization get the most out of your system.
- Access to detailed onboarding information, including how to setup a new location, invite users to use the system, and manage your organizations specific deployment of the ComplianceMate solution.
- Access to Frequently Asked Questions related to the user, admin, and onboarding functions.
The advanced help system is available to those who have submitted a registration request, had that request approved, and then used the registration credentials to sign in to the help system.

Registering to use the Help System is different than being invited to use the Server App. This is because the Server App operates on the ComplianceMate network, and the help system operates on external servers provide by the company whose tools we are using to create the Help System. For this reason, we can't simply copy your ComplianceMate credentials to the external system, as that would be against the tight security policies we have in place for protecting your organization's data.
