Creating a QR Code for a Web Page

If you are looking for instructions on how to generate a QR code so you can register a tablet running the Mobile App at a location, see Registering a Tablet with a Location.

The following guides you through creating a QR code for any web page, including the Server App address or a category/section/article page in this Help System.

  1. In your web browser, navigate to the page for which you want to create a QR code.
  2. In the address bar, click the 3-dot icon:

  3. Choose Create QR Code for this page from the menu:

       

    A QR code for the page appears:

       

  4. Proceed as follows:
    • If you want to copy the code and paste it into an email or document, choose Copy. The image is now in your clipboard for use.
    • If you want to download the code so you can then upload it into another application, choose Download. The file is downloaded to your computer's default download folder.
