The Timed Logs function is a way of tracking the warming or cooling steps for a piece of equipment or product using a similar approach as checklists:
- Your organization will create several Timed Log Templates in the Server App. These templates will be either of the following:
- Cooling Logs, which track temperatures as they cool over a period of time until they reach a pre-defined temperature.
- Warming Logs, which track temperatures as they warm over a period of time until they reach a pre-defined temperature.
- Prepare the item – equipment or product – to be tracked (e.g., turn on a piece of equipment or place a product in a cooler or warmer).
- Connect and activate a digital temperature probe in the Mobile App.
- For more information on connecting a probe, see Connecting a Digital Probe to the Mobile App.
- In the Mobile App, start the Timed Log and record the first temperature with the probe.
- When the next alarm sounds, record the temperature again. Repeat until you have completed the log.
The data collected from a timed log is available in the Statistics function in both the Mobile App and Server App (see Timed Logs).
