Checklist Notifications

  • Updated

When checklists are setup by your administrator in the Server App, they include Intervals that describe when a checklist is available for use (for more information, see Checklist Availability, Progress, and Status).

When setting up intervals, your administrator can choose to add notifications based on the End Time of the interval (a/k/a "Due Time"). There are three types of notifications for checklists:

  • Tablet Alerts
    • The time for an alert is set by the administrator of the checklist, and may be before or after the Start Time.
    • The alert is sent as a standard notification, complete with a card and alarm sound, to all tablets registered at the same location as the checklist:

      • Tapping Snooze silences the alarm and sets a 5-minute period, after which the alarm will sound again.
      • Tapping Start silences the alarm, closes the alert, and opens the list in ComplianceMate for you to start working on it. If the list is already opened, the checklist screen will be made active so you can continue working.
      • Tapping Dismiss silences the alarm and closes the alert with no further action required.
  • Reminders
    • Can be sent 30 or 45 minutes before the due time.
    • Can be sent via SMS, Email, or both.
    • Are sent to persons associated with the location of the checklist based on their Job Role.
    • Can be more than one reminder at the same or different times.
    • Reminders give you a link to open the list. If the list is already opened, the screen will be made active so you can continue working.
  • Completion Notification
    • Sent when the interval due time passes
    • Is only sent via Email.
    • Is sent to persons associated with the location of the checklist based on their Job Role.
    • There is no additional action associated with a completion notification.
