I'm having problems with checklist alarms. How can I fix them?

Issues due to Checklist Interval Configuration

Some of the issues you may experience with checklist alarms are because of how the intervals (start and end time) for a list are configured.

Checklist alarms are triggered in the Mobile App when the following is true:

  • A Tablet alert time has been set for the interval
  • Tablet alert enabled has been enabled for the interval
  • The Tablet alert time has been reached but the checklist has not been started

If any of the above is not true, then the alert will not be triggered.

  • If you do not receive alerts for some checklists that have not been started but do receive alerts for others, it means all intervals for the checklist are missing a Tablet alert time or Tablet alert enabled has not been checked.
  • If you do not receive alerts for some intervals of a checklist but do receive alerts for others, it means those intervals are missing a Tablet alert time or Tablet alert enabled has not been checked.

Resolution of these issues will require the checklist intervals to be updated (see Working with List Intervals, Reminders, and Notifications).


Issues due to Mobile App Settings (Sound Only)

Some of the issues you may experience with all checklist alarms are because of the alarm settings in the Mobile App on the tablet:

  • The checklist alarm is trigged, but it is not loud enough to be heard in the working environment.
  • The checklist alarm is triggered, but it is too loud.

To enable or disable Loud alarms, you will need to modify the Mobile App Settings (see Modifying Mobile App Settings and Running Network Scans).


Issues due to Tablet App Settings for the Mobile App

If the Checklist Interval and Mobile App Settings are configured properly, but you are not receiving alarms for any of your checklists, it means that notifications are disabled in the Tablet App Settings for the Mobile App.

View the settings and make sure Notifications and all notification Categories are enabled (see Viewing App Settings for the Mobile App).
