Understanding Product Tracking
Product tracking in TrackAssure Web is intended to give you reports on the following:
- Received Products
- Prepped Products
- Transformed Products
- All Products (i.e., Received, Prepped, and Transformed)
If you are a Super Admin, you can access both the Organization and Location level reports:
For organization Product tracking (i.e., All Products), use the Organization menu:
For all location level reports, use the Location menu after you have selected the location in the Organization structure:
If you are a Location Admin, you can access reports for the the Location you account is associated with using the location menu:
Product Tracking
The Product tracking report at the organization level will include all products received, prepped, and transformed from all locations. The Product tracking report at the location level will include all products received, prepped and transformed at the active location.
To view the Product Tracking report, carry out the following:
Click Product tracking on the TrackAssure menu. The Product tracking form appears:
- Enter a Product name, lot code, or GTIN in the search field.
Click the Date range field and choose a start and end date for the range of products received, prepped or transformed (the dates can be the same if you only want to look at one day):
When finished, click Search. The results appear listing all products received, prepped, or transformed:
For each product, the following information is provided:
- The Name of the product.
- The Type of product (i.e., Received, Prep, or Transform).
- The LOT Code for the product.
- The GTIN for the product.
- The location where the product was recorded.
- The Timezone for the products.
- The Date and time the product was recorded.
You can filter the results by Type, where # is the number of records of that type in the results:
- Click Received (#) to view only received products.
- Click Prep (#) to view only prepped products.
- Click Transform(#) to view only transformed products.
If no products are found, the following message appears:
Tracking Received Products
To view Received products at a location, carry out the following:
- Choose the location with Received products you want to view:
- If your a Location Admin, this will be the location that is active when you log into TrackAssure.
- If you are a Super Admin, this is a location you access through the Organization structure.
Click Received products in the TrackAssure location menu. A list of all received product entries appears on the Received products page:
For each product received, the following information is provided:
- The Product name
- The Expiration date of the product.
- The Supplier
- The GTIN
- The Manufacturer
- The Pack size
- The Source, which indicates whether the entry was Manual or Scanned.
- The Date & Time the entry was made.
Your can search for specific products in the Search field based on the Product name.
If no products are found or none have been recorded, the following message appears:
Tracking Prep Products
To view Prepped products at a location, carry out the following:
- Choose the location with Prepped products you want to view:
- If your a Location Admin, this will be the location that is active when you log into TrackAssure.
- If you are a Super Admin, this is a location you access through the Organization structure.
Click Prep products in the TrackAssure location menu. A list of all prepped product entries appears on the Prep products page:
For each item, the following information is provided:
- The Item name that was prepped
- The Product name used in the preparation
- The LOT code of the prepped item
- The Use by date of the prepped item
- The name of the person the item was Prepped by
- The date and time of the item's Prep time
Your can search for specific items in the Search field based on the Item name.
If no prepped items are found or none have been recorded, the following message appears:
Tracking Transformed Products
To view products received at a location, carry out the following:
- Choose the location with Transformed products you want to view:
- If your a Location Admin, this will be the location that is active when you log into TrackAssure.
- If you are a Super Admin, this is a location you access through the Organization structure.
Click Transformed products in the TrackAssure location menu. A list of all transformed product entries appears on the Transformed products page:
For each dish, the following information is provided:
- The Dish name
- The LOT code
- The name of the person the dish was Transformed by
- The Transform date & Time
Your can search for specific dishes in the Search field based on the Dish name.
If no dishes are found or none have been recorded, the following message appears:
