To view a message in the Mobile App;

When a message is first delivered to the Mobile App, a notification appears along with an alarm:

• Tap Snooze to silence the notification alarm.  The alarm will repeat after a period of time.
• Tap View to open the message so you can view it and acknowledge receipt, as well as respond if needed or required:

  

• Tap Dismiss to silence the alarm and terminate the notification without taking further action on the message.

If you have dismissed the notification for the message, you can still access it through the Mobile App menu:

• Tap the Mobile App menu 3-bar icon, and then tap Messages. The Messages screen appears with all messages that you have not responded to or acknowledged:

  

• Locate the message you want to view and tap on its card. The Message screen opens:

  

To acknowledge and respond to a message in the Mobile App

With the message open in the Mobile App, carry out the following to acknowledge and respond to a message:

• Enter a response in the text box located below the message. If the sender requires a response, a message appears above the text box; otherwise a response is optional:

  

  If a response is required and you do not enter one before tapping the Acknowledge button, an error message will appear:

  

  Tap OK and enter a reponse before tapping the Acknowledge button.

• Tap the Acknowledged button to acknowledge receipt of the message. The message is removed from the list.

You can view the message and the submitted response using the Messaging module Server App component.

To view messages in the Server App sent to a Location

To view all message sent to a location, carry out the following: 

1. Access the Server App and make the location active where the message you want to view were sent.
2. Click Messages on the Server App menu. The Messages page appears with all messages received by the located, sorted from newest to oldest:

     

   

To acknowledged and/or respond to a message in the Server App

To acknowledged and/or respond to a message in the Server App, carry out the following:

1. View the list of messages sent to a location, as described above:

   

2. Click Add Response. A blank Response form for the message appears:

   

3. Proceed as follows:
   • Enter a response in the Response box. This is optional unless the sender requires a response.
   • Click the Respond button to acknowledge receipt of the message and post the response, if any. The Message page appears with the response added.
